A native of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Amere received his Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Mississippi, where he earned a commission into the United States Army as a Medical Services Officer. He was then awarded a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center through the Interservice Physician Assistant Program while serving in the Army. His experience in Orthopaedic Surgery includes trauma, total joint replacements, foot/ankle surgery, sports medicine, spine surgery and diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis.
Amere is certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), and is the Physician Assistant for Dr. Maahir Haque. His professional affiliations include the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Society of Army Physician Assistants (SAPA).
In his off time, Amere enjoys aviation, the outdoors, and traveling with his wife.
Michael Taylor graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Exercise and Sports Sciences with specialization in Athletic Training. He then attended the University of Virginia and graduated with a Masters of Education with specialization in Athletic training. He obtained a Masters of Physician Studies from the University of Florida. He is certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician’s Assistants (NCCPA).
Michael is a Physician Assistant for Dr. Homan and assists him in surgery for things such as knee and hip replacements and shoulder and hip arthroscopies. He also assists with High School football coverage for 7 local schools.
On his off time, Michael enjoys Spending time with family, bike riding and playing a game of golf.
Mikaela is originally from Cleveland, OH but attended the University of Florida where she graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science degree. She completed her physician assistant training at Nova Southeastern University and received a Master of Medical Science degree. She is board-certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
Mikaela is the physician assistant for Dr. Johnston, assisting him with total joint replacements and arthroscopies. She is professionally affiliated with Physician Assistants in Orthopaedic Surgery (PAOS) and the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA).
In her free time, Mikaela loves to travel, try new restaurants, and spend time with her friends, family, and French bulldog, Rambo.
