Matthew Johnston, DO

Dr. Johnston was born in Ohio but grew up in South Florida. He is a married father of two. In his free time he enjoys traveling and playing golf.

His philosophy is to develop a relationship with his patients to help them better understand their orthopedic issue(s) and develop a treatment plan together.

Dr. Johnston received extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of arthritis, failed total joint replacement and osteonecrosis.

He performed the first robotic “Smart Knee” replacement surgery in Orlando. It self reports data about patients recovery in real time.

While playing football in both high school and college, Dr. Johnston witnessed first hand the impact injuries can have and it’s one of the reasons he decided to become an Orthopaedic Surgeon.
