Dr. Albitar was born and raised in Sugar Land, Texas. He and his wife, a Social Worker, reside in Lake Nona with their 2 children. In his spare time, he loves spending time outdoors with his family and dogs.
Dr. Albitar has completed the complex spine and adult spinal deformity surgery fellowship at Brown University where he was also a clinical instructor. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, AO Spine North America, and the Scoliosis Research Society.
Dr. Albitar specializes in both open and minimally invasive spine surgery. He is trained and committed to providing the latest care with cutting edge technologies such as robotic assisted and 3-dimensional navigation to his patients in addition to non-surgical treatments.
